Meet Victoria. Originally from Azerbaijan, she is one of the driving forces behind our Customer Success team at Mopinion! As a Customer Success Manager, Victoria works closely with our international client base, making sure they don’t just use Mopinion, but truly succeed with it. Known for her strategic mindset, cultural awareness and impressive time-zone skills, Victoria brings energy, empathy and a whole lot of tea to everything she does. We’re very happy to have her on the team!
So we’ve heard how Mopinion experiences Victoria, but how about the other way around?
What does your position at Mopinion entail?
“As a Customer Success Manager, I work with Mopinion’s international client base and wear many hats,” Victoria explains.
“My main goal is to make sure my accounts are successful, their questions are answered and their requests are taken care of. I also make sure clients are well informed about new Mopinion features and feel comfortable reaching out to me with any questions or challenges.”
She continues:
“I like to share my knowledge and expertise so clients can improve their workflows, KPIs and internal processes. I’m essentially the Swiss Army Knife for my accounts. On any given day, I’m a strategist, a teacher and a professional problem-solver. My mission is to make sure my clients aren’t just using Mopinion, but absolutely winning with it.”
Sounds like a role with impact and variety!

What does a typical workday look like for you?
“My days are a masterclass in time-zone gymnastics,” Victoria laughs.
“Some days start with an 8 am call with clients in Australia and end with a 4 pm call with clients in the US. Since we’re based in Rotterdam but work with customers all over the world, I’ve mastered the art of saying ‘good evening’ at 8 am and ‘good morning’ at 4 pm.”
On office days, her routine is powered by one essential ingredient:
“Tea. Lots of it. I usually drink about five or six cups a day,” she adds.
Victoria also enjoys the social side of working at Mopinion:
“I really love our team lunch breaks. We talk about everything and I always learn something new. Since we’re such an international group, there’s always something fun to share about our cultures or how everyone drinks (or spills) their tea!”
What is your favourite part about working at Mopinion?
“Definitely the culture and the people,” Victoria says without hesitation.
“I’ve never had this kind of experience in my previous roles. Everyone here is friendly, open-minded, helpful and has a great sense of humour. Conversations are open, supportive and no topic is off limits.”
She also highlights the people closest to her in her day-to-day work:
“I feel incredibly lucky with my team. My manager Rudo has been an amazing mentor, always supportive, kind and encouraging my growth. Barend and Amelie have shared their wisdom and expertise with me since day one. It’s rare to work somewhere where you’re constantly learning and having this much fun.”
We couldn’t agree more, Victoria fits right into the Mopinion culture!

What do you like to do in your free time?
“In my free time, I’m a creative explorer,” Victoria says.
She loves travelling, visiting museums and galleries and exploring places with interesting architecture and art. She’s also very hands-on creatively:
“I enjoy painting, sculpting with clay, embroidery, sawing and all kinds of DIY projects.”
Her commute is often spent deep in books:
“I love classic novels from the 1800s and early 1900s, Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Lucy Maud Montgomery. I’m also a big Agatha Christie fan, plus books on psychology and the human body.”
And she’s full of surprises:
“I love going to the cinema, attending metal concerts and visiting flea markets with friends to hunt for vintage treasures. If there’s a costume festival, I’m probably there.”

Who inspires you?
“I don’t have to look far for inspiration, it’s right there in my inner circle,” Victoria shares.
She speaks warmly about her friends and family, including her brother and his family, who built a new life abroad and her parents, both university professors who impacted thousands of students through their careers.
She also finds inspiration close to home:
“My partner is a ship captain, navigating extreme conditions with calm and dedication, it’s incredibly inspiring. Along with my Dutch family, whose kindness and generosity make me feel so at home, I’m very lucky to have such a strong support system.”
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
“Singing Rammstein songs at karaoke,” Victoria laughs, “even though I have the voice of a dying cat.”
We respect the confidence!
What is your favourite quote?
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” — Agatha Christie
A classic and very fitting.
What meme describes you best?

Honestly? A whole mood!
Where do you see yourself in five years?
“I expect I’ll be a black belt in time-zone gymnastics,” Victoria jokes.
“Professionally, I want to evolve into a deep strategic partner for our global accounts, using everything I’ve learned about psychology, UX and CX to help them crush their KPIs.”
On a personal level, she hopes to tick off half her classic reading list, travel to at least ten bucket-list destinations and master even more complex DIY art projects.
What is something no one knows about you?
“I have a couple of secrets that usually surprise people,” Victoria admits.
“First, I hold an official reindeer driver’s license, very useful if Dutch trains ever stop running. Second, I once successfully called for rain.”

She explains that while spending time with the Tohono O’odham Native American people, she joined a traditional rain dance and the rain actually came.
“So if Rotterdam ever has a very dry summer,” she adds, “you know who to call.”
