At Mopinion, we’re always improving the way you collect, analyse and act on customer feedback. This latest update brings smarter reporting, smoother form previews, and better accessibility for all users.
Our team has rolled out another batch of improvements designed to make your Mopinion experience smoother, faster, and just a little bit smarter. From reporting tweaks to accessibility updates, this release contains small but nifty enhancements that’ll make your daily work a lot easier.
Let’s go!
Reporting
We’ve made a subtle but powerful improvement to how checkbox questions are handled in charts and reports.
Before, any unchecked boxes (the ‘empty’ ones) weren’t being counted at all, which made it tricky to include them in calculations like percentages or totals.
Now, those empty boxes automatically get the value ‘false’, meaning you can filter and calculate based on whether a checkbox was ticked or not. This gives you more accurate insights and makes it easier to build the charts and distributions you want.
If you’ve ever looked at your checkbox data and thought something seemed off, this one’s for you.
Feedback forms
We noticed that sometimes the page title on your thank you page would load faster than the rest of the content, which wasn’t ideal. Now everything loads together, creating a smoother, more polished experience for your users.
Form builder
If you’ve been previewing your feedback forms on our platform in the mobile view, you might have spotted that the star rating sometimes didn’t appear properly. Occasionally, the phone frame itself didn’t show up either.
Both of those little nuisances have been squashed. Your mobile preview should now look exactly as intended.
Accessibility (WCAG)
We’ve made some important accessibility improvements to ensure a smoother experience for everyone:
- Focus Styles for Multiple-Choice Questions
Previously, when filling out a form, the focus style on multiple-choice elements like radio buttons could be mistaken for a pre-selected answer. We’ve adjusted this to remove any confusion for survey respondents while still keeping things WCAG-compliant.
- Placeholder Text for Screen Readers
In text areas (open comment questions), placeholder text sometimes disappeared when focused on the area to write feedback in, which meant screen readers couldn’t access it. The placeholder is now rendered in a separate element, making sure it’s visible and readable as it should be.
Accessibility might not always grab the spotlight, but it’s one of the things that matter most, and we’re making sure it’s done right.
Deployments
When editing triggers and conditions using keyboard navigation, some users noticed that empty variables were occasionally sneaking into triggers and causing them to fail.
We’ve fixed that behaviour, so your triggers will now behave exactly as expected. No more invisible variables ruining your flow.
That wraps up this round of updates. We hope these improvements make your experience even smoother.
As always, we’re continuing to refine, polish, and push the Mopinion platform forward, all based on your feedback (naturally…).
Stay tuned for the next release.
Happy feedback collecting!
