On October 17th it was finally time for what we’ve all been waiting for – the first-ever Mopinion Connects event.
And what a success it was! Ideas, insights and knowledge about digital feedback were exchanged long after the official presentations concluded. It was an afternoon and evening to remember to say the least.
The first guests stepped inside the Mopinion headquarters in Rotterdam at 14.00 and the office quickly filled up with attendees from leading organisations in the Benelux countries. KPN, VodafoneZiggo, Nationale Nederlanden, DHL, Delhaize and Vattenfall are just a few examples.
The theme for this Mopinion Connects was ‘The Key to Understanding your Users’. Naturally, we had an agenda packed with tips and tricks on the topic! Not to mention some fantastic speakers who shared their expertise on how to utilise Mopinion and digital feedback to maximise the user experience.
Exciting presentations from Interpolis and Intergamma
First out to present were Christiaan Buitenhuis (Senior Market Researcher) and Stijn Oerlemans (Technical Webanalyst) from Interpolis. This is one of the largest insurance companies in the Netherlands and part of the Achmea group.
Their presentation, ‘Our growth in measuring user experience’, deep dove into strategies for collecting feedback, analysing responses and converting them into action points that will improve the overall user journey.
Following Christiaan and Stijn was Patrick Kool (CRO Specialist) from Intergamma – the organisation behind the Benelux DIY brands GAMMA and KARWEI. His presentation, “Democratising feedback”, instead went into how to make feedback more accessible, relevant and useful to every department in your organisation. This is a great way of improving everything from ads and content to products and stock.

Roadmaps and quizzes
After our guest speakers, it was time for our very own Rudo de Graaf (Head of Customer Success) to take to the stage. He spoke about what’s to come for Mopinion in the next few months and, among other things, shared some exciting AI news. Stay tuned to learn more very, very soon!
The presentation part of the afternoon was concluded with a fun digital feedback quiz, hosted by our Head of Product, Jos van der Kooij. The results were very even, but in the end, one of the teams took home the winning title which came with some nice chocolates.

Going out with a bang – See you next time
The afternoon was far from over, however! The networking continued over drinks and snacks several hours after the presentations had concluded. It was a very pleasant day, to say the least.
