What is an NPS survey?
An NPS survey, or Net Promoter Score survey, measures your customer loyalty and satisfaction. It divides your customers into promoters (loyal enthusiasts), passives (satisfied but unenthusiastic) and detractors (unhappy customers). This allows you to keep an active pulse on your customer relationships and take measures to optimise your customer experience.
What should I ask in an NPS survey?
As NPS is a metric, these surveys follow a formula. Typically, you would ask “On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend ‘company/product/service’ to a friend or colleague?” To make the feedback actionable, it is important to follow up with an open question asking why the customer gave the score they did.
