Meet Ferran. Ferran is one of our newest Customer Success Managers and while he is a master of languages – speaking Spanish, Catalan, French, English, Italian and Dutch – he still had to get used to working in the international and multilingual environment of Mopinion. When he’s not in the office speaking to our customers, he’s either reading, traveling or spending time with his family.
Let’s find out how Ferran uses his background in engineering, sales and marketing to help our customers here at Mopinion.
What does your position at Mopinion entail?
Since this past November I am in charge of the international accounts, helping clients worldwide achieve their feedback goals by collecting, analysing and acting on their feedback data – using Mopinion.
What initially drew you to Mopinion?
Seeing a sociable and international role within a company and team with a cultural fit!
What does a typical work day look like for you?
It is a nice mix of client calls, tool analytics, portfolio management, communications, and teamwork. These days we conduct a lot of our work virtually. It has its advantages, like meeting clients worldwide. However, I also really enjoy seeing my colleagues and having a dedicated place to work and live close to, so I come to the office often. I also like the flexibility of working from home when I need to!
What is your favorite part about working at Mopinion?
I enjoy meeting new people (even if it’s online) and helping them achieve their goals. I also like strategizing, solving problems, and having the chance to improve company results by helping the client.
My goal is to improve business results by helping our customers. I focus on long term relationships with our customers. Sometimes our customers need more advice on how to use our platform and which functionalities are useful for their situation. I also frequently explain how other related companies or competitors collect feedback and use the insights.
What are the biggest challenges you face in your job?
Challenges keep evolving. At the start, there was a steep learning curve. Learning the product, the customers, the licenses, our business model, etc. And to make it more challenging, I started at Mopinion in the midst of the pandemic.
And even though I speak several languages, I had to get used to working multilingually. Not only with our customers do I speak different languages, but also in the office with my colleagues.
What is your proudest moment at Mopinion?
I love it when I see an account shine, when they come from a stranded position. My job is to help the customer start using the platform (again). When I see them take ownership again after good pre-onboarding makes me proud!

What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy a variety of activities like jogging, sports, resting, playing guitar, reading, and sunbathing! I also really like traveling, meeting new people, learning new things, going to concerts and being back home in Spain.
What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?
I guess there are lots of best purchases… as for the worst, possibly broken items online! The worst purchases are always those you enjoy the least. For me, that’s usually the definition of online shopping. The customer experience passes through a mobile phone screen, even when you are inside the retailer’s shop. This does not delight me. I mean, where’s the feedback button?
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Not sure about this one! At Mopinion? 😉 Of course I want to grow professionally and have fun in what I do, maybe even become a manager of an ambitious team. But my first goal for this upcoming year is to have more customers and solve more or bigger problems.
