The innovation train at Mopinion keeps rolling! As summer approaches, we’re thrilled to unveil our latest feature: Single sign-on (SSO) with OKTA is now available for our Enterprise customers.
You can now log into your Mopinion account with your corporate OKTA credentials. No separate usernames or passwords needed.
This means that Mopinion users can now use SSO with Microsoft Entra ID, Google accounts and OKTA – whichever suits your organisation best.

What are the benefits of SSO OKTA?
The handy thing about SSO is that you don’t have to remember different login credentials for every application you use. In addition to making things easier for the user, it’s also a lot more secure. Every time a user logs in to an account, it’s an opportunity for hackers. With single sign-on, the user only logs in once, which reduces the number of possible attacks.

What is SSO and how does it work?

If this sounds a little complicated, think of SSO as a master key that opens multiple doors. Instead of juggling different keys for each door, you have one key that lets you in everywhere. SSO allows a trusted service, like OKTA, to authenticate your identity across various applications, including Mopinion. Once configured, SSO enables you to access Mopinion securely with a single click.
So how does single sign-on with OKTA work then?
Well, OKTA generates a special token with your identity information, which Mopinion recognises and trusts. This all happens behind the scenes, providing a secure and hassle-free login experience.

How to set up single sign-on with OKTA for Mopinion
SSO for OKTA is available to all Mopinion customers with an Enterprise license at no additional ongoing cost. Depending on your needs, there may be some initial setup costs, but these are one-time and vary based on the level of assistance required. Once SSO is up and running, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it! If you’d like to set up single sign-on with OKTA, you can contact your dedicated Customer Success Manager.
To activate SSO, go to the User Management section in the Mopinion platform:
1. Log in to Mopinion.
2. Navigate to ‘Settings’ via the main menu.
3. Click ‘User Management’.
4. Select the SSO block.
In short: Settings > User Management > SSO
