Tidy up your interface to get to the most important insights faster than ever. Archiving your feedback forms hides them in the entire platform, from every filter and list, while maintaining all collected feedback and data. By simply reactivating an archived form you’ll get access to all data again.
TL;DR – Article summary
Mopinion introduces archiving for feedback forms, letting teams hide unused or outdated forms without losing any data. As accounts grow, this reduces clutter, improves navigation and makes it easier to focus on active work and find relevant insights quickly. Unlike deleting, archiving keeps data safe and allows forms to be restored at any time, helping teams stay organised while preserving valuable feedback.
In this article, we’ll cover:
- Keeping your workspace neat and tidy
- Why archiving next to deleting
- Faster navigation
- Finding the right feedback faster
- How to archive your feedback forms
Keeping your workspace neat and tidy
Every feedback journey begins with a single feedback form. When your first feedback form is live, you see essential feedback coming in. All the benefits of collecting and analysing feedback are shared with other teams and colleagues.
Before you know it, that first feedback form gets accompanied by dozens of other forms; some relevant, some not. Some recent, some very old. Some live, some just for testing purposes.
It becomes a bit tricky to find the right feedback quickly, and you don’t want to just delete other forms. Like that box in the basement with all those old cables; you’re too afraid to throw them away, you never know if you might need them sometime.
If only you could archive those forms, so they won’t show in your interface anymore, but the data is still stored…
Now you can easily archive your feedback forms. This means forms get hidden from the entire platform, making navigation a breeze. Just archive the forms you no longer actively use and keep your workspace focused on what actually matters right now.
Why archiving next to deleting
Deleting forms can feel risky. Just like that box in the basement with all those old cables; you’re too afraid to throw them away, you never know if you might need them sometime. (If anyone needs a printer cable for a printer from 1993, ping us…)

What if you need the data later? What if someone suddenly asks for last year’s results? What if that “temporary form” actually captured something valuable?
Archiving gives you the best of both worlds:
- The form disappears from your daily workflow
- The data stays safe
- You can always bring it back if needed
No stress, no clutter, no accidental loss of essential insights.
Faster navigation
Once you have dozens (or hundreds) of feedback forms, your account can start to look and feel messy. When everything is visible all the time, it can become harder to:
- Find the right form(s) and needed data quickly
- Focus on active projects
- Create charts, tags and/or integrations fast
By archiving old, test or inactive forms, your interface becomes cleaner, and way easier to scan.
Instead of scrolling through all your feedback forms searching for the ones that are relevant, you immediately see the forms that are actually relevant today. That goes for checking your feedback inbox, building charts and dashboards, adding tags or setting an integration.
Finding the right feedback faster
Archiving doesn’t just clean up your forms list. It also makes it much easier to find the feedback and results you actually need.
When only active forms remain visible:
- Dashboards become clearer
- Filters become easier to use
- Reporting and analysing becomes faster
This way, you can get to the most relevant insights even faster. And take action to further optimise your digital experience.
How to archive your feedback forms
Your feedback forms can be archived from the platform, under ‘Data Collection’ and ‘Feedback Forms’ in the navigation bar.
Click on the three-dotted menu of the form you want to archive, and look for the ‘Archive’ option. By clicking, you archive the form, which is then moved to the ‘Archive’ tab.
In that tab, you can easily re-activate archived forms, putting the form and all of its data back.
Afraid you’re archiving a form that is currently published? Don’t worry. There’s an alert built in, preventing you to archive live forms!
That’s all there is to it.
Perfect for multiple teams and long-term projects
Over time, feedback programmes evolve. Campaigns end, websites get redesigned, experiments wrap up. Archiving makes it easy to keep your feedback setup aligned with your current priorities without losing historical insights.
Start archiving today and give your feedback workspace the cleanup it might need!
Happy cleaning!
